I’m Josh Russell, MD, an emergency physician with experience as an entrepreneur, executive, and educator.  In the emergency department, creative problem-solving, decisiveness, focus, discipline, and resilience are not optional, they are critical ingredients for success–and their value extends well beyond the hospital setting.  I bring these values to each coaching, consulting, leadership, and speaking engagement.

I created The Focused Exam to be a platform for sharing these high-yield lessons and principles for the decisions that matter most.
